Re-enacting History

Country:Kenya

Description: South Africa’s fight for political independence was one of the harshest on the African continent and the memories for many are still raw. One war, pitting the Zulu kingdom against the British colonial forces in 1879, in which 1500 British troops killed, was reenacted in commemoration of that battle, which is also regarded as one of the biggest defeats of the British in colonial times.
