Somalia peacekeeping resistance

Country: Somalia

Description:
The Somali government's foreign affairs minister appealed more African Union peacekeepers at UNSC but the appeal has encountered huge resistance within the country and the general public. Islamist Insurgents opposing the government and a group of clerics, who back the president, have spoken out against plans to send additional troops. But the strongest militia group Hezb al-Islam demanded the tiny African forces to leave Somalia soon or will face hard time like ethiopian forces.
