Description:Makoko slum built on stilts in Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos is seldom visited by anyone from outside. Life in the slum is believed to be tough with many residents surviving only by subsistence farming. However, a local charity has lately embarked on a project of giving the slum a facelift by not only putting the children in school, but also helping them express their thoughts through photography.
