Rebecca Wanjiru Kinyanjui holds a diploma in journalism from the East Africa School of Journalism. She is also a trained graphic designer having studies at Graffins College prior to her engagement at Camerapix.

She previously worked with the Kenya National Museum in the audiovisual department photography section, where she was involved in restructuring projects of Nairobi national museum.
