Hana Mal Allah, an Iraqi artist left Baghdad for her own safety. She experienced the bloodshed and violence of some of her country’s darkest days, but through her art she strives to illuminate war-torn landscapes with free expression and life. Now resident in London, and under the watchful eye of gallery owner Maysaloun Faraj, the film follows Hana, as she prepares for her first British exhibition in 2007.
